The Gift of Giving: Our intūn ChiroCare Giving Tree Returns

The holiday season is here — and with it comes one of my favorite traditions at intūn ChiroCare: our Giving Tree.

Each year, our community comes together to make the holidays brighter for local children in foster care through the Sheboygan County Foster Group. These are kids who have faced more challenges than most of us can imagine — and together, we have the chance to remind them that they are seen, valued, and loved.

This year, our goal is to help 10+ foster children each receive five gifts to open on Christmas morning. 🎄💛

Here’s how it works:

  • Stop by the office and select a tag from our Giving Tree — each tag includes the child’s age, gender, and wish list.

  • Purchase one or more items from their list.

  • Drop off your unwrapped gifts at the office by [insert date] so we can deliver them in time for the holidays.

That’s it — simple, heartfelt, and impactful.

Every year, I’m blown away by the generosity of our community. Watching that tree fill up and those gifts pile high in the office brings me to tears — because I know what it represents. It’s not just about toys and clothes. It’s about connection. It’s about showing up for one another.

And truthfully, giving is one of the most powerful ways to support your own well-being, too. Acts of kindness and generosity trigger positive shifts in the nervous system — releasing feel-good neurotransmitters, reducing stress hormones, and strengthening our sense of purpose and belonging.

That’s what makes this tree so special. It’s not just a way to give back — it’s a way to regulate forward. ❤️
