A lil sweet, a lil savory: Apple Tahini Salad!
A great salad any time of the year—this Apple Tahini Salad is a fresh and unique dish that elevates the chickpea to a different level with a crunch from the apple and pepper mixed in with a nice, nutty tahini dressing. Shop local by getting your ingredients at Goodside Grocery!
Apple Tahini Salad
- 1 red pepper 
- 1 apple (green works well, but any crunchy, tart apple works great, too!) 
- 1 spoonful of Tahini 
- 1 spoonful of agave or honey 
- 1 spoonful of balsamic vinegar 
- 1 spoonful of lemon juice 
- ½ can of chickpeas 
- Chop a green apple and a red bell pepper. 
- Mix 1 spoonful of tahini and 1 spoonful of agave in bowl 
- Add 1 spoonful of balsamic vinegar and 1 spoonful of lemon juice. 
- Mix in chopped apple, bell pepper, and half a can of drained chickpeas. 
- Serve and enjoy!
