How to stay well this winter…

This time of year, we start to get a lot of questions about how to stay healthy this fall and winter. The KEY is ADAPTABILITY!

There is no true “sick season”, but simply a season when the body is more likely to be less adaptable to invaders, which can result in illness. A lower threshold of adaptability can be due to:

-Later nights resulting in less sleep

-More processed, or sugary drinks and food

-A schedule packed full of activities

-A dys-regulated nervous system

You can easily take steps yourself to mitigate the effects of some of these factors, but how do you fix a dys-regulated nervous system?
